Texture CD Preview

Below are some sample renderings of textures that are included in my new CD, entitled "Out West Textures". I have tried to offer some materials not as commonly available elsewhere, such as various rocks, tree trunks, and other items. Each texture (20 in all), along with a bumpmap, are provided in two different .jpeg sizes (about 250K and 500K), and in an uncompressed .bmp (windows bitmap) version at about 750K. As an extra bonus, I have included 5 "western skies" that you can use in your images. I have traveled around out here in California (and portions of Nevada) with my trusty Nikon F100 camera capturing textures that caught my eye and that I thought I would like to have at hand to use in my own work. The original photographs were scanned into computer with a Nikon Coolscan 4000, and then made tileable in Photoshop. The CD is being marketed through 3DCommune, and some of the textures will likely be available separately or as a small package for purchase as a download. I am not certain of all of the details at this point (such as the price), so please stay tuned for further details!
