More Blooms

Here are a couple of more shots from my encounter with the prickly pear cactus in Afton Canyon, near Barstow, California. There weren't a whole lot of this type of cactus at this locale, and this was the only one with open buds. Unfortunately, it was right under a barbed wire fence! All of these images were taken with a Nikkor 200mmF4D Micro Lens.
